I’ve used the Truscend Swimmax lures in both lakes and rivers, and they’ve easily become my top choice for freshwater fishing. What sets them apart is how lifelike they are—when you’re reeling it in, the movement mimics a real fish perfectly. The swimming action is so realistic that fish of all sizes can’t seem to resist. I’ve caught rock bass, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and bluegill using these, often getting the most bites when I have one tied on.
The only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because one of the lures eventually ripped. To be fair, I got a good number of casts out of it before that happened, but durability could be just a little better.
Still, if you’re looking for a reliable, versatile, and highly effective lure for freshwater (and even saltwater) fishing, I definitely recommend giving Truscend Swimmax a try. It catches fish—and attention.
Zum einen sind sie (richtig eingesetzt) unerwartet fängig.
Zum anderen hat man nicht lange Spaß damit. Die Haken, Ösen und Sprengringe rosten recht schnell und nach einigen Einsätzen wirken die Köder unstabil und nicht gerade vertrauenerweckend. Bei der letzten Spinntour ist einer dieser Köder leider im Hechtmaul mittig zerrissen und ich habe dadurch den Fisch verloren. Fairerweise muss ich aber erwähnen, dass der Köder vorher schon einige Hechte gebracht hat.
Die Köder kann man sehr langsam führen. Ideal, um zB im Sommer über krautigem Grund zu angeln. Sie bewegen sich gleichmäßig gut, lassen sich aber nur auf eine Weise sinnvoll führen (wenig variabel). Bei Spinnstopps bleiben sie ruhig und brechen nicht aus. In den Stoppphasen bekam ich 90 % der Bisse.
Für Einsteiger sehr zu empfehlen.
