I L-O-V-E this diffuser!!!! It’s so cute, puts out a surprising amount of mist and is so aesthetically pleasing to me it’s insane.
Here’s my issue. I loved it so much I used it almost 24/7 lol but I started to notice it looked like the runner on the inside was starting to melt? After awhile I ended up catching a cold and in my delirium “ May or may NOT!” have poured an entire bottle of Vicks vapor rub inhalant into the reservoir (that you’re really only supposed to put a couple of drops on a piece of cotton and let the heated mist wash over that). ALLEGEDLY, your honor! Also the “Max Fill line is a sticker that fell off so I started measuring with my heart and my heart didn’t want to come back anytime soon to refill this thing.
So basically after the ALLEGED mishandling incident of the product happened it kind of congealed and the “ melting “ got worse. So I thought it was my fault and I’m not gonna blame the piece of equipment for my user error ( IF it was even my fault!).
So I happily bought another one bc I loved it so much. This time I refrained from using it 24/7; stuck to pre-approved essential oil liquids only anmd strictly andhere to the “Max fill line”…only to have it start melting on the inside again! =………<. ( old school crying emoji for u young’ins)
One of the worst parts is some of the small intake vents for fresh air to come in so the fans can push out the jelly fish mist started to melt over. So I got to perform emergent jellyfish diffuser surgery to try and save its life. I WAS able to scrape away the melting plastic and open up the vents again but I’m guessing it’s only a matter of time before this one eventually breaks on me too.
I took 3 stars away because my dream of having cute little baby jellyfish clouds living in my house was crushed. I screw up ( Allegedly) shame on me, you make promises but provide an inferior product shame on you!
