   A must by for humidity, migraines & AC issues

   Holy moly I’ve had this thing for 48 hours now and I have watched reviews on YouTube after I purchased it. A lot of good reviews but a lot of negative reviews. The negative reviews is because it is a one flow air duct and apparently dual flow air ducts are better. Anyway, I had to set this up in my bedroom because I’m facing heat south in room in Houston Texas heat with humidity! 115 heat index due to the humidity here, it’s insane! I went on ChatGPT and figured out how to lower my $300 a month for a one bedroom electric bill, here’s what I did. This is set up in my bedroom in the corner on dehumidify 50% during the day still feels ice cold in here Even without the air conditioner on! I have two fans going one in the hallway by my bedroom door facing outward, the second one in my living room facing towards the hallway. I am now circulating the entire house to withdraw all the humidity out of it. I have removed at least 7 gallons if not more in 48 hours out of the air which reduced the impact of the cost and amazing crisp air for the first time since moving here! My migraines are even under control!. I feel lighter and I bet you anything. I’m not going to be dealing with migraines anymore because I spend most of the time in my house in my bedroom. I highly recommend! I was at a breaking point to where I found this and purchased it immediately. I had no idea that going down a rabbit hole about humidity and dehumidifiers would 100% fix the issue with cooling and it turns out that I need to be focused on humidity. I didn’t know that, so I promise you this is an excellent buy. It’s on sale right now I would purchase it. I really would if I were you. I want to purchase another one, but I just can’t right now. I highly recommend!!

   Excellent portable AC. I replaced my black and decker unit with a Dreo and I’m so glad I did. The main differences were the easy air hose installation and the water drainage. The black and decker required daily drainage from all the water build up of overnight use. On the contrary, I’ve only had to drain water from the Dreo once in a whole month so far. I definitely recommend this unit to everyone. Their floor fans are great too.

   It’s a good AC but you’d need to be aware of its quirks, follow the instructions that tell you to let is stand upright for 6 hours, if it stops blowing cold air it probably over heated so to protect it self it will stop cooling. If you move it to a new spot don’t be surprised if it doesn’t “cool” immediately and just blows warm air, if it does this reset the filter and the fan a few times after leaving it unplugged for 30 minutes. Bear in mind that customer support is on China time so you were going to hear back from them at the weirdest hours of the night….I have a large space it cools my living room and partially my dining room my apartment is 650-800 square feet so I’d say pretty accurate to as described…I have purchased another AC for my bed room by midea….midea is excellent but definitely not as stylish as the dreo so I’m happy the dreo is in the area where company might be. DO NOT STIFLE THE TUBE or scrunch it close to the wall it need as much space as possible.

   I'm always skeptical of online reviews. But this unit earns and deserves its high ratings. Easy to set up, easy to operate. The app has worked flawlessly. The unit quickly cools the hot upstairs hallway and bedroom with ease. The dehumidify function works great, too. It's pretty humid here (ranging from 65-85%), and this thing makes a noticeable difference you can feel. As for noise, it's not bad at all. It is definitely quieter than a box fan, but a little more so than a white noise generator. But I typically have it on the highest fan speed. Lower speeds are quieter, of course. I also monitor our daily electric usage. We're in the middle of an unpleasant heat wave, so this is running quite a lot. I was surprised that it really hasn't added much to the electric usage. If you're on the fence about spending the money on a portable unit, this is worth the price. I'm pleased with it and would recommend it!
   
   UPDATE: Still very pleased with this unit. It did so well in our home that I decided to put this in my workshop and run the venting and drain through the wall. Works perfectly and is able to comfortably cool and decrease the humidity in my shop!

   After purchasing my Dreo portable smart air conditioner, I’m thrilled to share my amazing customer service experience with Amazon shoppers seeking innovative and budget-friendly air cooling solutions, especially those interested in smart air conditioners that blend style and functionality.
   Like many of you who need this particular kind of cooling solution in the upcoming summer months, I searched for and needed an air conditioner that could be tech-smart, portable, reliable efficient.
   Not only did my Dreo Air Conditioner meet those requirements, it exceeded my expectations. Friends, this air conditioner provides exceptionally cool, comfortable and clean air for my condo - period!
   I live in an older high rise building built in the mid-70s in the San Francisco East Bay Area where most buildings were constructed without central air conditioning and typically the weather conditions aren’t very hot. Enter the 2000s and every state in the US now has heatwaves! To resolve this issue especially since my unit is on the top floor and underneath the rooftop of building, I decided to go portable with my air conditioner situation.
   I initially purchased it for my downstairs living room area and when I installed it, turned it on and felt how incredibly comfortable it felt to have cool air, I decided to get another unit for my upstairs area.
   And WOW! 🥰
   The remotes, the modes, the temp controls, asking Alexa to make it happen and the ease of it all?
   Two word, folks: GET ONE!
   Before I forget, I must personally thank the Dreo Team for being incredibly responsive and professional! A BIG THANKS to Tina 💐, who embodies this ethos with enthusiasm and integrity and for making my customer service experience one of the best and most rewarding I’ve had in years!
   If this is what Dreo customer service, after-purchase care, and courtesy truly feels like, imagine how comfortable and COOL this unit works!
   Yeah, I’m a Dreo fanboy (don’t tell anyone!), and I can’t wait to get my wall heaters in the fall (probably two!)!
