   What I like about this product is that it is fairly easy to set up in a short period of time. Fairly durable used 4 times with no broken parts despite falling on it. Although this might be inherent to the game but it is very easy to get cheap shots especially when serving very close to the net (perhaps something to indicate distance you should serve from). Another weakness is that when setting up the net one side always get more net than another would possibly be nice to color code the net so that they match up with the 5 legs for an easier way to evenly distribute the net. Another weakness is that after 6-7 games the net will become a bit loose and need some retightening of the net (perhaps have some sort of clip the hold the net on the edges)
   Over all it is very fun to play almost anywhere that has enough open space especially with friends. Very easy to pick up will take a while to master it so the fun keeps coming

   My younger brother came back from Spring Break at the Atlantis resort and he only talked about this game, which I thought was ridiculous. His birthday came around and I figured I would buy him the game as a combo birthday/graduation present and he was delighted. He would absolutely give this 5 stars, but I feel like I don't love it as much as he does. Still, it's a great game that I think only competetive people will like. I'm not sure you could throw just anyone in for a round and expect them to have a desire to get good enough to compete with people who have even a few hours of experience playing.
   
   My biggest criticisms are:
   
   -the net. It's not flimsy, but it moves around throughout the game. This wouldn't be a problem in some areas, but in our backyard this means constantly moving it back so that we don't run into the garden or bushes.
   
   -the whole "pocket" rule is a definite grey-area that leads to some in-game arguing. I can see no real solution to the rule, however.
   
   -can't be played on concrete. Okay, it COULD be played on concrete, but it would ruin what I think is a fun and important part of the game and that is diving around like a fool trying to save the ball from hitting the ground. I suppose you could dive onto the concrete, but I don't recommend it.
   
   Overall, Spikeball is worth the money. Especially if you have a few friends (or brothers) who like competitive games and playing outside.

   Spikeball!! This is such an awesome way to get your teenagers outside hanging out with friends! It is a great product made with quality materials. We decided to go with the original name brand spikeball even though there are cheaper options. I am very glad that we did. We have friends that bought an off-brand and were very disappointed after seeing and using ours! We adults have had so much fun challenging our teenagers and (sometimes) actually winning! We can't wait to take it to the beach this summer! I am guessing our kids will make some new friends!
   
   UPDATE: We have only had Spikeball for 2 weeks and have only used it at home. The bottom seam of the bag is already completely torn. I am very disappointed in this since we were wanting our kids to be able to take it with them to the park, beach or friends house.****I changed my review from 3 stars to 4 stars due to the customer service! I called Spikeball customer service and they had a new bag sent out right away! The new bag is holding up much better!

   This game is wonderful! My family and I love to play Spikeball everywhere we go with a large enough patch of grass or sand, and everyone who sees us playing walks away from their first game saying they have to get one for themselves!
   
   The reason I rate the product 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 is the price. As great as this game is, It's hard to believe that any part of it should justify a near $60 price tag. The materials used seem sort of flimsy even though it's holding strong, there is evidence of the plastic rim bending with time. It seems like something that could easily be sold for $40 or less, and even though other companies do sell similar games for less, I do think this is the best quality version of the product out there besides the Spikeball Pro sets (also official).
   
   One note: do NOT keep the game assembled for long periods of time: The plastic and net stretch with time and become warped/misshapen if left assembled and tight overnight or for multiple days. Make sure to take the game fully apart every time you're done playing, or your circular net will become more and more of an egg-shape with time.

   The game in itself is a lot of fun. It takes a few minutes to get the hang of it, but once you get into a rhythm, it becomes fast paced and enjoyable. I did not give five stars due to the price. At $30, this would be a 5 star review. Once you get the set, you will understand. It is all plastic parts and just feels cheap. It held up well to some very minor abuse from a two year old (he thought it was a trampoline and kept trying to climb onto it), but I could see it breaking somewhat easily if an average sized adult were to step or fall on it during game play, which is an extremely plausible scenario.
   
   We had an age range of 25 to 70 and all different fitness levels playing it. Everyone said that they thoroughly enjoyed it and I know at least two of the people in the group are ordering a set. I am happy I made the purchase.
