The zip closure on these is next to useless, so make certain you have your own container for these.

    The taste and texture is the same as they used to be but the appearance of M&Ms these days is awful. They often have broken candy shells. They are covered in ugly brownish spots due to an inconsistently thick and too thin candy coating. Their sizes vary widely including tiny pieces, indicated the peanut quality is much lower and cheaper than they used to be,

    Peanut M&Ms are just plain ugly these days and look very very cheap but they are still delicious.

    To say I like Peanut M&Ms would be an understatement. It’s literally my favorite snack. The perfection of the crispy candy coating, the smooth deliciousness of milk chocolate and then the salty crunch of a peanut; it’s like 3 snacks in one!

    Also, dare I say it’s a better snack for you? The addition of the protein in the peanut means less insulin release from your pancreas. That’s less blood sugar spike and less sugar crash (than just eating plain candy). I kid you not, I once put a bunch of these in a ziploc bag, stowed them in a fanny pack and used them as fuel during a 20-mile run!

    Alas, now we come to why my review is missing a star. I started buying this Party Size in March and the price and availability keeps changing. I’ve paid $8.98 for it and recently $9.74 (price per bag for a pack of 2). I looked at the price today for the same size bag and it’s inexplicably $12.74. If I wanted to buy it from other sellers the prices are even higher, ranging from $14.99 to $29.69! Remember, this is for ONE BAG. Almost all the other types/flavors of M&Ms are readily available in stock and to ship but inexplicably, not the Peanut. Even when it’s available, it might take weeks to ship. For instance, one order placed on April 8 wasn’t shipped until April 22nd. It would be great if this issue with pricing/availability inconsistency was rectified.
