Just saying, because there are people who might pass on these pans all because they were misused!
If you haven’t noticed, I LOVE THESE!
They’re burn resistance and have great heat distribution which shows with one of my burners having a higher flame on one side-my other pans I would need to move around to prevent burning, these are effortless to cook with, especially when used properly!
I first was introduced to them through my sister who did some research and found the pans she wanted to purchase so I got to use these way before this set was ordered.
The food slid out! The food also didn’t need high heat to cook perfectly! So the bonus is that they required less gas to cook, so less heating the kitchen up and that also means less gas fumes to inhale while cooking.
I knew I wanted them after using them at her house and decided I’d wait to get them on sale, like my sister even though the price point is worth it.
My roommate is traveling for work and will be away from the home for approximately two years and has ordered these pans.
I have them now and they don’t disappoint. I chose the cream color and love the ease of wiping them out and the bottom! The pans stay fresh and new looking and with a little planning have made cooking super simple to where I can walk away and not worry I’m burning the food but in fact it’s beautifully being cooked, evenly!
That’s important for us because we don’t have a microwave and reheat our food in pans…these changed that game and made the warming up process enjoyable because I knew my food would be evenly heated, not with hot spots.
He loved the pans so much that after insisting he only had need for one, he later asked if he could still have the second one.
4 stars because the 1.5 qt pot is pretty ,uch useless except to boil 2 or 3 cups of water in. The 4.5 qt is a good size fany things, but something in-between 3 qt, or even 2 qt is more useful than 1.5qt. 1.5 qt isn't big enough to heat up a can of soup, not unless you like you pot to be full of liquid an inch from rim. That's going to end up splashing on the stove top if stirred, and at my house end up getting spilled with any attempt to move the pot.
4 stars also because the handles on all the pots and pans were loose when they arrived. Being removable handles means they can be tightened. However, I do not have the dexterity to tighten them and have not yet had company who has been willing or had the time to do so. Thus handles are still quite wobbly. Doesn't affect their cooking function, just makes them not feel very secure when you lock them up.
They clean up great. Even after cooking story fry and the pan sitting on the stove until the next day, or multiple days when thought it was already clean, still cleaned up in seconds no hassles. Run the lids through the dishwasher with no problem. Just load them like a plate. Wet glass is likely to get dropped, so try not to hand wash glass items.
Quesidias are a snap, and cook faster and more even then before.
Love that these pans work on all stove tops as unfortunately a, looking at moving again and have come across a few houses with induction stove tops. Realtor has oquickly pointed out I'll need all new pans for that stove top. No, I'm good, my 9 month old pans will work just fine. Not that realtor believes me, but hes not the one going to be cooking.
