Just us the thin insert and press it into the silicone slowly but hardly. Over all love this kit and the it comes with so much. Even the headband it came with had a really good grip.
This is such a great little machine, with a steady and strong stream of steam! I use it every morning to clear my sinuses and for a facial steam before applying my serums and again before bed and my night time serums. It comes with a ton of spa and skin care tools which is nice! I love the jade rolling tool but I have not yet used the other items. I will definitely buy this again a gifts and if I ever need a replacement!
**UPDATE*** Jan 7, 2025. I still use this machine every day twice a day and I absolutely love it! Once I forgot to turn it off ( overnight ) and even though it ran out of water it did not die. I still only use the jade roller so I cannot speak on the rest of the items that came with it. The head band was far too small for my head, it is more child size.
