I also got the grill cover and it fits perfectly.
Make sure to burn in before you cook anything, it smoked a lot during this process but it goes away after the first 10 minutes
Assembly was fairly easy and the quality is definitely there.
Did 1 cook so far and the unit performed great. Holds temps well.
Haven’t tried loading a recipe in for Vera to auto cook yet but that’s not why I bought it anyway.
Heavy construction, very good quality. If it last as long as my old Pit Boss I will be very very pleased because I’ve had the Pit Boss 17 years and it’s still going with never an issue with it. I just wanted an upgrade.
Assembly was relatively simple. At my age it took two of us to flip it after attaching the legs. I do wish the shelf for in front of the grill was included. I attempted to order on the website, but it is out of stock. 🙁
After adding the full 20 lbs bag of pellets, I set everything up for a pork butt smoke. The recommendation was for 6 hours at 225 degrees F to bring the meat temp up to 170 degrees F. Spritzed every hour with water (I didn’t have apple juice). It took almost 8 hours even after upping the grill temp to 240.
Wrapped the meat in butcher’s paper and smoked for another 6 hours (halfway through I upped the temp again to 250) to get the meat temp to 203. Rested the meat for 30 minutes and began to pull.
Best I have ever smoked!!! The only thing I did was spritz. If it wasn’t for upping the temperature twice, I never had to touch the smoker! Temperature stayed within 10 degrees of set temperature.
Next time I will definitely start smoking at 250 degrees F right from the beginning. It used about half of the 20 lbs bag.
I highly recommend this grill/smoker!
So I found this one as it was still in the pipeline and not yet available.
Waited over a month to finally put my order in. Received it two days later and finished the first racks of spare ribs today.
Assembly, setup and seasoning were super easy and the app works great. Comes with 1 temperature probe and offers two 3.5 mm jack receptacles.
The app does not feature many recipes so far but I'm sure it will be more and more as it grows.
Grill is sturdy, easy to use, clean and maintain.
It offers enough space for two st Louis ribs, two pork shoulders or one brisket.
If you stack ribs vertical it has enough soace for 6 or more racks.
Hopper takes like 15 lbs of pellets. After 7 hrs of use at 230°F it used up approximately 25% of the pellets. I'm confident that it would run for close to 24 hrs without refill.
So far I'm extremely satisfied.
Down sides that could affect someones decision: it comes with black coated stainless steel grates (not cast iron) and theres no way to get the ashes out by an external shaker or so like on the other models. Vacuum worked great though after it was cooled off.
Pretty much thing you'd expect for that price segment and I can totally live with.
To start with I'm a rare customer probably since I even at 59 years old I haven't really ever cooked anything other than an omelet from scratch. Microwaves are my thing :)
So to make something that has people begging me to cook more with its beyond my wildest dreams. This grill is so easy to use and a true beginner cooking wise will turn out results that have people asking for more !
I recommend the hey grill hey dry rub to go with it. I have been recommending this thing all over the place. The ai is easy to use and even the normal controls without the ai are super intuitive so no manual needed to jump right in.
The cooking area is large enough to cook 20 burgers at one time no problem. Even full size rib slabs fit nicely. It cost more than some of the grills I have looked at in the past but it was worth EVERY penny. Excellent value.
The levels of smoke this thing puts out is nice and thick too. The designed it so even a newbie can start putting out making things right off the bat. The design of the hopper is pretty nice to since its makes changing out the wood pellets almost instant. The functions on the lcd screen make knowing what is going on a piece of cake too.
I normally don't rave about stuff I buy but I flat out LOVE this thing !

The Brisk it Grill exceeded my expectations. The cooking surface is deeper not just wider. The fire pot is located in the center with a heat baffle above it. There are no hot spots! The smoke and heat comes over the sides of the huge grease catcher. It’s not in my pics but I placed a thermometer while cooking and moved it to deferent locations and the heat didn’t vary more than a couple of degrees. Hotter up top. But more importantly the temp was never more than 4 degrees off of my set temperature whenever I checked.
Control panel was simple and easy to use. Turn the knob and press it. Priming took about 5 minutes and temp of 225 was reached in about 12 minutes.
Construction and design is something to appreciate. The smoker is heavy. The metal looks and feels sturdy. Side mounted tray to the hopper lid, solid. The brisk it smoker has a ash and grease collection system that is out of sight. This gives it a really clean appearance plus it’s simple to use and easy to clean.
Assembly was straight forward with easy to understand instructions and all tools needed is included. . A second set of hands would be helpful but I was able to knock it out in just under an hour. I’m fairly handy.
The brisket I made came out pretty good for my first try. Nice color and smoky. It was juicy in the thicker parts not as juicy at the thinner side but not dry. Not the smokers fault. I could’ve pulled it off sooner. I also let it rest wrapped in a towel for 2 hours.
I didn’t use the Brisk It pellets. It wasn’t available on Amazon when I purchased the smoker. It’s available now and it’s on its way. I’ll smoke another brisket when the pellets arrive. So I’ll review the pellets then.
